CS Motorwerks is a gift from above for those of us with BMWs that are out of the dealer service period - in my case an '04 M3. These cars can start getting expensive to maintain, especially the M3 with its periodic valve adjustments. CS Motorwerks isn't cheap, but they charge considerably less than a dealer, for much more diligent work. Christian and his team have all the BMW certifications and training, but are focused on delivering value to their customers, not to a large dealer. They will do what needs to be done, not what will make them money. They will do it very thoroughly and well, and they will do all this at a lower rate than a dealer would charge. Having found CS Motorwerks (conveniently only about a mile from my house), I feel like I'll be able to keep my car for a few more years, knowing that it'll be well taken care of.

This has to be one of the best auto repair places I have ever come across is nearly 50 years of driving. I took my son's 2004 325ci into the shop for an oil leak. Chris Sniady (owner and principal tech) could not have been more pleasant, responsive and fair. This was the second car we have brought (2008 528 for a battery replacement) and have had nothing but the best results. There is no doubt this is the place to take your BMW for repair and is far better and less expensive than any dealer. By the way as of my visit on 1-2013 he has a new address that may not be on Yelp, 31129 Via Colinas, unit 701 Westlake Village, CA. - Just the next building to the west of his previous location.

Christian is a talented and knowledgeable auto mechanic, and his prices are fair. He recently serviced my 2002 BMW 330ci for almost half of what another shop in Thousand Oaks was asking. He completed the work quicker than he originally thought and his communication was excellent. I would highly recommend his shop.

CSmotorwerks is hands down the best BMW shop to go to. I have had several things done to my 2005 325ci over the last 2.5 years including Inspection I service, new starter, front bushings replacement, body control module replacement, diagnostics etc. The dealerships have always given me the run around and talked to me like I didn't know what I was talking about because I'm a woman. Chris was very upfront and honest from the very beginning, he went above and beyond to resolve my issues and costs so much less than the dealerships. I trust Chris so much that I used to drive from Orange County 70 miles to have my car serviced there and I recently moved to the San Francisco Bay Area and now drive 400 miles when I come to southern California to have my car repaired because I haven't found a shop up here that I can trust yet. Chris is always available to answer my questions and give me great honest advice. I recommend everyone with at BMW to see him even the ones that also live far away because it's WORTH it!

Took my daughter's 2004 mini for air conditioning repair & other services. Repairs reasonably priced & ready when promised. Will continue to have car serviced here. Have already recommended this place to family and friends.

I took my 2008 Mini Cooper there for it's first non-dealer service as my 3 year/36k maintenance warranty had run its course. It needed a 45k oil change and Christian completed the work in 30 minutes as promised, and charged 44% less than what the dealer quoted. He also provided some useful advice about servicing my car and getting things fixed that were still covered under the 50k warranty. He's worked as a mechanic at at least 3 of the large LA BMW-Mini dealerships and provides competent service w/o the steep prices. Highly recommended.

I have a BMW 325i, I took it to a local dealer to change a sensor and they wanted to charge over $2,000! I began to call local independent shops and I ended up going with Chris at CSmotorwerks! He charged half the price and my BMW runs so much better. I will always recommend Chris to anyone who needs repairs on their BMW! Extremely knowledgeable in dealing with his profession. He is straight forward and is able to explain the repairs to his customers without confusion!

If you drive a BMW, look no further for your service and repair needs. Chris is a master BMW technician, so you get the best quality of work on your beloved Bimmer at indie prices. His work is of consistently high quality, and you don't have to worry about being hustled to pay for more work than what's needed. Finding an honest German car mechanic in LA isn't easy, so keep CSM's number handy! -Doug Brekke
